Social Media Contest Rules
SECTION 1 - RULES APPLICATIONS
These rules govern all online Social Media Contests appearing on the theFABB Official Facebook Fanpage, theFABB Official Twitter Page and theFABB Official Instagram Page. theFABB and its representatives are not responsible for the fulfillment of Contests on pages other than theFABB Official Fan Pages.
SECTION 2 - ELIGIBILITY
You must be 18 years or older at the time of entry. Employees and agents of theFABB, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies, any other prize sponsor, and any entity involved in the development, production, implementation, administration or fulfillment of the Contest, and the immediate family members and persons living in the same household, whether related or not, are not eligible to participate or win.
Contests are in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.
SECTION 3 - HOW TO ENTER ON FACEBOOK
Eligible participants must Like, Comment and Share a Post specific to a Facebook Contest on theFABB Official Facebook Fanpage.
SECTION 4 - HOW TO ENTER ON TWITTER
Eligible participants must first be a "Follower" or "Follow" theFABB Official Twitter Page.
The participant must then "Re-Tweet" the exact Contest Tweet originally sent from theFABB Official Twitter Page. Changing, adding, or deleting any content from the original theFABB's tweet may disqualify the participant from winning.
SECTION 5 - HOW TO ENTER ON INSTAGRAM
Eligible participants must first be a "Follower" or "Follow" theFABB Official Instagram Page.
The participant must then Like and Comment the Contest Post originally sent from theFABB Official Instagram Page with a content previously specified by theFABB.
SECTION 6 - WINNER SELECTION
Winners will be selected by a representative of theFABB on the basis of qualitative factors including but not limited to the following:
- Entrant’s previous engagement with theFABB Official Facebook and/or Twitter and/or Instagram Page
- Amount of followers and/or Likes/Friends of the Entrant
- Entrant's history of activity on Facebook and/or Twitter and/or Instagram
- Entrant’s public conduct with regard to theFABB.
Winners will be notified on theFABB Official Facebook and/or Twitter and/or Instagram Page within 24 hours of the Contest end. After theFABB sends the Entrant a notification that they have won, the winner has 24 hours to respond via Facebook Message and/or Twitter Direct Message and/or Instagram Direct Message with their mailing address and phone number. P.O. Boxes are not acceptable and will disqualify the Entrant if an alternative mailing address cannot be provided.
theFABB is not responsible for parcels that are lost, stolen, or undeliverable. Depending on the Entrant’s location, prizes may require up to 28 days to be delivered.
SECTION 7 - PRIZES
At least one prize will be awarded per Contest. The actual prize will be pictured in the Initial Contest Facebook Post and/or Tweet and/or Instagram Post and is subject to change at any time. theFABB is not responsible for defective items and does not guarantee or warranty any item offered as a prize.
By accepting the prize, winning Entrants hereby agree to publicly inform their Facebook and/or Twitter and/or Instagram Followers - in the form of a Facebook Post or a Tweet or an Instagram Post - about winning the Contest.
SECTION 8 - PRIVACY
SECTION 9 - LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
theFABB assumes no responsibility for lost, late, misdirected, garbled or unintelligible entries, or for theft, destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries.
theFABB is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users, to any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest, or any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of submissions in the Contest.
theFABB assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, failures or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, providers, computer equipment, software, email, players or browsers, whether on account of technical problems, traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or on account of any combination of the foregoing.
theFABB is not responsible for any injury or damage to participants or to any computer equipment related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials in this Contest.
If the Contest is not capable of running as planned, for any reason, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of theFABB which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Contest, theFABB reserves the right in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest and select winners from among all eligible entries received prior to the cancellation.
theFABB reserves the right to end its Facebook and/or Twitter and/or Instagram Contests without fulfillment of prizes for any reason at any time.
SECTION 10 - RELEASE OF LIABILITY
By accepting the prize, winning Entrants hereby agree to grant to theFABB, its agents, subsidiaries, affiliates, successors, licensees and assigns, an exclusive, fully paid, world-wide, perpetual right to use their name, image, likeness and voice ("Image(s)"), in any media, form or format now existing or hereinafter created (including, but not limited to, television, radio, cable, video, CD, DVD, MP3, internet, mobile devices, newspapers and magazines) to publicize Entrant’s selection as the winner of the Contest, without further compensation.
By accepting the prize, winning Entrants hereby forever release and discharge theFABB, its employees, licensees, agents, successors, and assigns from any claims, actions, damages, liabilities, costs, or demands whatsoever arising from the Contest, including but not limited to the conduct of the Contest, the awarding of a Contest prize to the Entrant and the use of the Image(s).
